Belta Consultancy & Management

Belta Consultancy and Management is a new music management company founded by Scott Richardson. Scott set up Belta CM in April 2008 drawing on his wealth of music industry experience to create what is already a hugely successful company, managing some big talent.

Scott started his Music Industry career 21 years ago working for the largest independent music retail chain in the north. From there he moved downed to London and onto Innocent Records (a subsidiary of Virgin Records). There he worked in the marketing department and became an integral part of the success of such artists as Billie Piper, Blue, Martine McClutcheon , VS, as well as the labels biggest triumph Atomic Kitten.  

Scott continued to work closely with Atomic Kitten throughout their career and their solo careers and in April 2008 Atomic Kitten, and Celebrity Master Chef winner, Liz McClarnon, became the first artist to be managed by Scott at his new creation, Belta CM. Together with Scott’s expertise, Liz is taking her music career in a new direction, focussing on a more dance and chillout genre. 

Keeping friends close, Jaime Jay, one fifth of 90s RnB band VS, joins Liz McClarnon on Scott’s Management. Jaime Jay, a young, quirky pop/dance/rap artist has seen her own well deserved success this year too, as she has had 2 number 1 hits in the Dance Charts.

Belta CM looks set to continue its success for many years to come, and grow into a very thriving, competitive company, with Scott’s expertise and skill behind it.
