Antony Costa

A new addition to the Belta team, we are very proud to be representing the multi talented Antony Costa.

Antony was a member of the successful boy band Blue, who sold 15 million records worldwide and performed duets with the likes of Elton John, Stevie Wonder and Angie Stone. They separated to pursue solo projects in 2005, but reformed for a series of summer gigs in 2009 and 2010.

Antony was a contestant on the 2005 series of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! In June 2006 Antony posed naked for Cosmopolitan magazine’s 10 Years of Naked Male Centrefolds, alongside other stars including singer Ronan Keating, actor Danny Dyer and TV presenter Craig Doyle. From 10 April 2006 Antony played the lead role of Mickey Johnston in the London production of the long-running musical Blood Brothers, directed and produced by Bill Kenwright and he then toured the UK in the tenth anniversary tour of Boogie Nights. He has also modelled for Giorgio Armani in late 2008.

In 2010, Blue announced that they had reformed and would return to the stage that summer, currently in the studio at this moment recording, their new album will be coming out in 2011. Costa played Jack in the 2009 / 2010 pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk, in Ipswich. Antony toured the UK with the production Pop star: The Musical, playing the part of Cal between April – July 2010. His most recent success has been touring the UK with Jonathan Wilkes and their Swing band. As well as this, he has also just finished filming a Channel 4 series which is due to air at the end of December/January.

Throughout November Antony will be performing at F1 Chequered Flag Ball in Abu Dhabi and the Malta Music Awards. He has also been filming with Live from Studio Five he’s their Jungle Correspondent with lots of insight on how they all feel.
